Annie Ly Johnson, RID, ASID, CAPS
I have been fortunate to have traveled and lived overseas as well as in different regions within the US. From East to West or Big Apple to Deep South, I have enjoyed learning from a variety of cultures, sights, places and spaces. As a designer, I draw upon these experiences to help our clients translate their discerning preferences and needs into the spaces where they live and work. I love creative problem-solving and implementing design solutions uniquely tailored to each project.
My professional career began on Wall Street before transitioning into design, where I have enjoyed transforming business and residential interiors over the last 15 years. I also taught building codes and studio design courses as an Adjunct Professor at the Michael Graves College of Architecture and Design at Kean University in Union, NJ, where I honed my teaching skills that I now use to educate our clients on their best design options.
I obtained a BFA in Interior Design from Kean University (NJ), an MA in International Studies from Nottingham University (UK) and a BS in Business Communications from Florida State University. I am a Certified and Registered Interior Designer (RID), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the AL Chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).
I would love to hear about your design needs so please give me a call or send an email, and let's connect!
